Back-to-school season is right around the corner, and we’re inviting our community to come together to support local students. 

By donating essential school supplies, we can help ease some of the costs families face and ensure students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. Starting the school year with the right tools can help students feel prepared, confident, and ready to learn. 

Strong communities are built by supporting one another. When we all come together, we can make a real difference.

When

From Monday, July 27th to Monday, August 10th, we will be collecting school supplies at New Durham Estates.

What We’re Collecting

We are asking for donations of the following items:

Pencils, colored pencils, pens, crayons, markers, highlighters, erasers, glue sticks, scissors, folders, notebooks, sanitizer, and Kleenex. 

If you would like to contribute any additional school supply items, we welcome those donations as well.

Drop-Off Locations

Collection boxes will be available at two locations. Both locations will be open for drop-offs during regular business hours

The New Durham Estates Office – 9852 W State Rd 2, La Porte, IN 46350

  • Monday–Friday: 9 AM–5 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM–2 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

The New Durham Hardware Store – 3066 South US Hwy 421, Westville, IN 46391

  • Monday–Friday: 8 AM–5 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM–2 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
