A Father’s Day celebration at New Durham Estates isn’t complete without a cookout. It’s a time to fire up the grill and spend time with family, friends, or neighbors. The best part is you don’t have to be a grill master to make it great. Here are a few grilling tips to get you started!
Preheat the grill: Give your grill at least 10-15 minutes to heat up with the lid closed. Preheating ensures even cooking and prevents food from sticking to the grates.
Clean and oil grates: Once your grill is hot, clean the grates and lightly oil them. This helps create the perfect grill marks and makes flipping food much easier.
Let meat rest: After removing food from the grill, allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This step helps lock in juices and flavor.
